Exercise - Plank tricep extension

Yeh we want it all - good core strength and posture, toned arms and increased upper body strength! Now your wish is my command, this exercise not only challenges your core stability but also targets those arms!

Instructions:




  1. Get down on a plank position - keep elbows straight under shoulders and pull your shoulder blaze together to keep your chest up. You can rest on the toes (or the knees for beginners to start). - see pic 1


  2. Keep chest and chin up, tuck in your abs AT ALL TIMES. Then contract triceps to push up 'til your arms straight (keep elbows soft). - see pic 2


  3. Slowly bend your arms, touch elbows on the floor to the starting position.


  4. Repeat 15-20 reps.

BODYBLAST - YOU ARE INVITED!

If you happened to see a bunch of guys running, jumping, pulling, pushing and screaming at the children's playground at Botanical Gardens at 06ish every Monday and Thursday mornings, that's us!

Each class is 1 hour long and we try to do something a little different every time. With a goal to enhance your fitness, strengthen your muscles, improve your speed, agility and muscle tone, as well as attaining the maximum fat-loss result.
